The A1C Stefan Monteiro Memorial Foundation was created to honor the life and legacy of Airman First Class, Stefan Mendes-Monteiro.

Stefan’s journey shows us that finding your purpose is not always a straight line. He worked hard and never gave up on himself, even when the path forward was uncertain. In time he discovered where he was truly meant to be. He joined the United States Air Force, where his dedication, strength, and determination allowed him to thrive.

Although his time on Earth was cut short, Stefan’s spirit continues to inspire. His memory calls us to embrace each day with meaning, to live life fully, and to always strive toward our greatest potential.

Through scholarships, opportunities, and community programs, the foundation carries Stefan’s legacy forward. We are committed to inspiring young people to reach for the stars and to pursue their dreams with the same resilience and determination that Stefan embodied.
